Greetings Scottie Fans!

Another summer has flown by, the 2025-2026 school year is upon us, along with it comes great opportunities for our students and student athletes to compete in a wide range of extracurricular activities. Activities where students learn to face challenges, overcome their limitations, and develop personal integrity through hard work and sportsmanship, all while experiencing the great rewards and lessons that come from teamwork. The new school year offers are great opportunities and fun for the whole family.

Your Scottie Booster Club is a major partner with our school’s programs, and we are again asking for your continued help in supporting our Students, Athletes, Speech & Drama Teams, Band & Choir Members, along with the Cheer Squad. Your Scottie Booster Club was able to invest in our school $44,696.92 this past year, spread across a wide range of needs that the school is not able to meet with its budgetary concerns.

The booster club provided $3,650.00 in scholarships to graduating area students through the (JJMT) Jeff Jurgens Memorial Tournament. Your booster club also made contributions in 2024 to the Montana Community Foundation in the amount of $5,000.00 and it is currently valued at $318,724.94; your club has also contributed $15,000.00 to the Capital Improvement Fund and it is currently valued at $145,516.87.

The Capital Improvement Fund created by your booster club board of directors several years ago, to have funds available to help address the aging facilities at the Scottie Field Athletic Complex, along with the Irle, Middle and High Schools themselves. You can contribute directly to either the Capital Improvement Fund or the Montana Community Foundation through your endowment donations to the Scottie Booster Club, just specify which fund you would like to contribute to with your donations.

On behalf of the directors of your Scottie Booster Club I would like to invite you to renew your membership at this time. We would like to thank all of you that have shown your true Scottie spirit, with all the vehicles around town and even throughout our great state sporting our Scottie Plaid license plates, we receive compliments even from our rivals. Remember that not only do they look great on your vehicles but $20.00 per year goes directly to your Scottie Booster Club. Just ask for them when you renew your plates, and you can even get them customized if you like.

I would like to again thank the rest of the Scottie Booster Club board they all put a lot of time and effort in throughout the year; Vice President Ryan Fast, Secretary/Treasurer Ruth Ann Hutcheson, Voting Directors Andrew McKean, Amber Kirkland, Jace Ball, Gil Johnson, and Superintendent Brenner Flaten along with our Non-voting Directors former Athletic Director/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Dalton Reid and Glasgow High School Principal Brett Huntsman. They did an excellent job for you this past year. We would like to welcome new Scottie Athletic Director Mike Erickson to our great community and to the Scottie Boster Club board as a non-voting director.

We have included a financial statement from the 2024-2025 fiscal year on the back of this letter along with your membership dues renewal form.
